Blues Night in Las Vegas

Well, we have many of them.  I'll tell you about my favorites.

Boulder Blues, and Boulder Station Resort and Casino, in the Railhead Bar.  From $5. to $35.  We've spent $5. to see the likes of Guitar Shorty, Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Tinsley Ellis, Selwyn Birchwood, Joe Louis Walker, and John Nemeth, with Barry Levenson sitting in.  We spent $35. to see Roy Rogers, Foghat, Don Williams, and most recently, the incredible Tommy Emannuel.  This is a relatively small venue with great sound!!1s0x80c8db3029474fc9%3A0x58dce5af0a481aca!2m22!2m2!1i80!2i80!3m1!2i20!16m16!1b1!2m2!1m1!1e1!2m2!1m1!1e3!2m2!1m1!1e5!2m2!1m1!1e4!2m2!1m1!1e6!3m1!7e115!!5srailhead%20boulder%20-%20Google%20Search&imagekey=!1e10!2sAF1QipNtyQBabBjX2cRCIeidjVSFwkpMwSZN87wZPzvp&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwikyPeQy-HfAhWEHzQIHSpKBSQQoiowCnoECAYQBg

Then there is Wednesday night at Champagnes Bar on Maryland Parkway.  Its free, you can pet the wallpaper, and hear Barry Levenson and Shawna McCarty play and sing the blues like only they can.  Its an intimate setting in an iconic bar that hearkens back to rat pack days.  Here's a taste:

This weekend the Rum Runners put on their Blues hats at Lucilles BBQ, inside the Red Rock Resort and Casino.  Yes, the Blues is alive and well in Las Vegas.
